Privacy

We're Unskooled. We're building something for 16–19-year-olds and we take your privacy seriously. Here's the plain-English version of what we do with your data.
Who we are
Unskooled (the "site") is run by the Unskooled team. If you've got questions, email hello@unskooled.org.
What we collect
- Waitlist info: name, email, who you are (young person, parent, educator, other) and an optional "mood" you share when you sign up.
- Anonymous analytics: pages you visit, rough location (country), device type, and how you got here. We use Google Analytics 4 for this.
- Anything you send us: if you email or message us, we keep that message.
Why we collect it
- To let you know when Unskooled launches.
- To understand what people want from Unskooled so we build the right thing.
- To keep the site working and spot bugs.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. Ever. We use a few trusted services to run things:
- Supabase — secure storage for waitlist signups.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage stats.
- Lovable — hosts the site.
How long we keep it
Waitlist info: until we launch and for a reasonable time after, or until you ask us to delete it. Analytics: up to 14 months. Emails to us: until they're no longer useful.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. Just email hello@unskooled.org and we'll sort it within 30 days.
If you're in the UK or EU, you also have rights under UK GDPR / GDPR including the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Under 18?
A lot of our audience is. We only collect what we need, we never share it with advertisers, and parents can email us at any time to remove a young person's details.
Cookies
We cover those separately — see our Cookie Policy.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes, we'll tell waitlist members by email.
